MagicTheGathering.com Launches Aaron Forsythe Thursday, January 3, 2002 Radiate Preview and More Torment Previews at MagicTheGathering.com As someone who has spent the last few years of his life deeply involved with Magic on many levels, I am both excited and proud to announce that MagicTheGathering.com --a new Wizards of the Coast website dedicated solely to Magic -- has launched. Whereas the Sideboard.com specializes in the metagame and tournaments, MagicTheGathering.com will focus on simply "the game": how it is made, how its own past influences it, and how to have fun playing it. In that way, we hope to continue -- and improve upon -- the tradition that magazines such as Duelist and TopDeck started, with exclusive "insider information," a high level of interactivity, and fresh material that will appeal to players of all skill levels. To accomplish those goals, we have collected some imaginative minds for our five weekly columns. Mark Rosewater and Randy Buehler from Wizards R&D will give everyone a look inside the creative processes that drive Magic, and Anthony Alongi, Ben Bleiweiss, and Jay Moldenhauer-Salazar will lend unique player perspectives to our variety of topics. Other highlights include a daily "Ask Wizards" section, Feature Articles by big names in Magic (both inside Wizards of the Coast and out), and the amazing new Orb of Insight! But what am I telling you all this for? Go have a look for yourself! Enjoy, Aaron Forsythe Content Manager MagicTheGathering.com
